Flow map
These are mock designs, not working software, but the key flows can be clicked through: sign in with a PIN, ring up an order (tap a photo or type its number, add notes), pay, and watch it reach the kitchen and the TV. The kitchen can mark items out of stock and the cashier answers from the Orders panel. You can also edit the menu, import a spreadsheet, manage staff and roles, and set up payments and devices. What you change is kept in this browser tab only. Use the dark bar at the top of each screen to move through the flow or come back here.
Data (top bar): Sample shows a busy restaurant; Empty (first day) starts over with nothing, to see the empty states. Reset demo throws away your changes. Prototype PINs: Sabik 1111, Leo 4827 (Cashier + Shift lead), Tariq 1953 (Cook, temporary, so he is asked to choose his own). The PIN screen shows only people whose roles allow that tablet: the register lists Sabik and Leo; the kitchen sign-in (D0) lists Sabik and Tariq.
Every screen can be shown in 5 different looks. Pick one with Theme (top right, on any page), or see them all next to each other on the comparison page.
Example restaurant: Saffron Corner, a small counter-service spot. The sample team is an owner, a cashier and a cook; a real restaurant can have any number of people and roles.
Reviewing: on any screen, press ☐ Review in the dark top bar (or the R key) and mark it ✓ Done or ✎ Needs changes with a note. The marks stay in this browser and show here on every screen, with a count per flow. Screens you approve in chat are saved in the repo (shared/proto.js) and show as done in every browser. Copy review notes gives you all notes as text to paste into a chat. Screens tagged NEW or CHANGED are from the pilot-scope round of 2026-10-11 (Notion feature review): use Show → New or changed in this round to see only those.
